New & Improved

First of welcome to the EQG Online Website. Secondly right now you are probably going through our site to find the things that make us different from other servers. The truth is, all EQG server are different, some are PvP Server, some try to keep some of the integrity of the original version by concentration for on the RPG side of things. Some servers have certain modifications that make them unique, some are keeping the true official version untouched. Whatever server you play on its going to be different. But just so you can see in one simple page all the things that make EQG what we are today, here is a full list with some images to guide your decision to play here, where we try and combine the PvP with Events and an excellent fast and ever growing community.

Lets talk Rates...

Well this is one of those key things that makes all us servers very different. Here at EQG Online we've been working on the perfect rate setting to give that want to speed things up a little the chance to to just that, you can easily achieve level 55 in a few days and then spend a little more time get to max level, its not an insane grind, but it should keep you very busy for a good week should you chose to get there as fast as possible, it will take a small amount of work.

For the more casual player, you want to enjoy level by level the rates is perfect to take things easy but won't waste your time for years to get to the max, achieving max level is perfectly doable in a couple of months playing at a relaxed rate that suits you.

Right now our rates are set to the following...

Player EXP Rate: x40
PT EXP Rate: x40
Dark Hole EXP Rate: x15
Force EXP rate: x40
Animus EXP rate: x100 (This does not give the Cora an unfair advantage due to a level restriction of the Animus if the player is too low level)
Item Looting Rate: x11 (With increased sell price on a list of booty to make it easy to get money without creating massive lag)
Mine Speed Rate: x6

Now for some Custom Mods...

Here at EQG Online we are always trying to come up with fresh ideas to improve the game play and keep already maxed out players here and have them enjoy the game as much as the newer players. So we introduce new mod when ever we can. Those range from Item mods all the way to map mods and monster mods. So whats modded you ask, well have a look at the lit below...

Hidden Elven Land Map

Like every other Private EQG Server out there, when we got Episode 2.2.3 we got it with a blank unused Elven map. So we went ahead and added monsters to it. First try we kinda failed, but the success always lies in failure. So we dusted our selfs off and tried again with the help of some very experienced players that have played on every EQG server imaginable, much like our admins. So here is what we did.

We made the map so it is laid out in stages, the further in you get the harder it gets. Starting the the leveling points for level 55 character right at the very start in a few different areas. And ending with the hardest ones right in the back just before you get the chance to port out of this hellish hard map. The map is also laid out so that there is room for several parties of all three races. So that the conflict over mobs is minimal, there is of course still PvP just for the fun of it, which in a game like is not only fun and necessary, but also very much part of the game no matter what map you are on. So go and have a look at the elfen map and see for yourself, you'll have to get to 55 first though.

WoW those dimensions are impossible to complete, or are they...

With 2.2.3 comes what is called dimensions, each containing a Pit Boss, with Sealed in its name. As standard those Pit Bosses are impossible to defeat even by the best party in the game, so we went ahead and changed that, we made them manageable. not only did we do that, made them into 4 difficulty degrees. Easy, Medium, Hard and Pro.

Each one of those Pit Bosses will get the a matching loot table for its difficulty grade to make them worth defeating. Otherwise whats the point.

Archons need more power

Well with 2.2.3 came the level 65 cap and new items and armors to go with it. However they forgot to adjust or add new archon armor. So archon soon felt the need for archon armor is no longer. 65 armor is way stronger then archon armor and even the bonus stats don't make up for the loss of strength.

So what did we do, we took it apart and made it worth getting, archon armor is now the strongest armor in the game as it should be, with new custom stats that make it not invincible but hard to crack, like it used to be before the 65 cap came in. We increased the base average de fence power and the de fence rate and increased the armor level requirement to 60 and 65 instead of 45 and 50.

How relic is this, 100BC...

As with the archon armor the good old devs at EQG have neglected the Relic weapons, they are suppose to be THE weapons to have, uber hard to find, but deadly when found. Soon after 2.2.3 people started to realize that its not worth having a Relic as all they do now is look good, cause a good 65 weapon can take a relic apart.

No more, Relics are rare and killtastic. If you work hard and complete a ton of HDH you'll get one and be taken over by its evil power. They are strong now, but you have to unseal them to make them crazy pwnage strong. And if you are really really lucky you'll be one of the very few that can upgrade it without blowing it up. Either way the Relic weapons are now the way they should be with a level requirement increase to 55 and the min and max attack power increased
